How to Use / Instructions
Preparation: Before first use, soak the sponge in aquarium water for 5–10 minutes and squeeze it several times to remove trapped air. This ensures the filter sinks and begins working immediately.
Installation: Connect the filter to an external air pump using standard 4mm airline tubing. Use a check valve to prevent water backflow if the pump is located below the water level.
Maintenance: Rinse and squeeze the sponge only in dechlorinated aquarium water during your regular water changes. Never use tap water, as the chlorine will kill the beneficial bacterial colony.
Replacement: For optimal performance, replace the sponge every 6 months or when it begins to lose its shape/density.
Compatibility: Best suited for small to medium-sized tanks or as a supplemental filter in larger setups.
