Paw Stocks operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”). Paw Stocks is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

The below terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein (these “Terms of Service” or “Terms”) describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

By visiting, interacting with or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, you should not use or access our Services.

SECTION 1 - ACCESS AND ACCOUNT

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in Sri Lanka (18 years), and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use the Services.

To use the Services, you may be asked to provide certain information, such as your email address, billing, payment, and shipping information. You represent and warrant that all the information you provide is correct, current and complete. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

SECTION 2 - OUR PRODUCTS & PET SAFETY

We have made every effort to provide an accurate representation of our products. However, please note that colors or product appearance may differ due to device settings.

  • Supervision: All pet toys, treats, and accessories should be used under owner supervision. Paw Stocks is not liable for injuries, choking, or health complications arising from the misuse or unsupervised use of products.
  • Allergies: It is the customer's responsibility to check ingredient lists for potential allergens before purchasing pet food or treats.

SECTION 3 - ORDERS & CANCELLATIONS

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Paw Stocks reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason.

Modifications: Once an order is placed, we start the processing immediately to meet our delivery timelines. Therefore, cancellations or modifications may not be possible once the order status is "Processing."

SECTION 4 - PRICES AND BILLING

All prices are listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR). Unless otherwise stated, prices do not include shipping charges which are calculated at checkout. We reserve the right to change prices without notice.

Payment Methods: We accept major credit/debit cards and other local payment methods. For Cash on Delivery (COD), you agree to pay the full amount to the courier before opening the package. We reserve the right to disable COD for accounts with a history of high return rates or refused deliveries.

SECTION 5 - SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We are committed to getting your pet essentials to you as quickly as possible.

  • Delivery Timeline: We aim to deliver all orders within seven (7) working days from the date of order confirmation.
  • Island-wide Reach: We deliver island-wide across Sri Lanka. However, delivery to extremely remote areas or high-security zones may occasionally experience delays beyond our standard window.
  • Carrier Liability: Once we transfer products to our third-party courier partners, the title and risk of loss pass to you.
  • Failed Delivery: If the courier is unable to reach you after three (3) attempts, the order will be returned to us. In such cases, we reserve the right to charge for re-delivery or cancel the order.

SECTION 6 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Our Services and all content (trademarks, logos, images, text) are owned by Paw Stocks, its affiliates or licensors and are protected by Sri Lankan and international intellectual property laws. You must not reproduce or distribute any material without our prior written consent.

SECTION 7 - THIRD-PARTY TOOLS & LINKS

We may provide access to third-party tools (e.g., payment gateways or tracking services) which we do not monitor. Use of these tools is at your own risk and subject to the terms of those providers.

SECTION 8 - ERRORS AND OMISSIONS

Occasionally there may be information on the Services that contains typographical errors or inaccuracies related to pricing or availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to cancel orders if information is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

SECTION 9 - PROHIBITED USES

You may use the Services for lawful purposes only. You are prohibited from using the site to violate any local laws (including Sri Lankan Computer Crimes Act), infringe on intellectual property, or transmit malicious code/viruses.

SECTION 10 - DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by the Consumer Affairs Authority Act of Sri Lanka:

  • The Services and products are provided 'as is' and 'as available'.
  • Paw Stocks shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or claim arising from your use of the products, except in cases of proven gross negligence or as required by mandatory consumer protection laws.

SECTION 11 - INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Paw Stocks and its partners from any claims, including legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law.

SECTION 12 - SEVERABILITY & ENTIRE AGREEMENT

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Paw Stocks.

SECTION 13 - GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

SECTION 14 - CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the website following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
