How to Use / Instructions
Submersion Rule: The pump must be completely submerged in water before being powered on. Operating the unit dry will cause the motor to overheat and may result in permanent damage.
Secure Installation: Attach the pump to a flat glass or acrylic surface using the integrated suction cups to minimize vibration. Connect the appropriate size hose to the outlet nozzle.
Maintenance Protocol: To maintain peak flow rates, remove the front intake cover and clean the impeller every 4 weeks to remove algae, hair, or debris buildup.
Power Safety: Always disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet before putting your hands in the water or performing any maintenance.
Drip Loop Requirement: Ensure the power cord hangs lower than the electrical outlet (forming a drip loop) to prevent water from traveling down the wire and entering the socket.
